Design & Material Selection
We discuss your vision, evaluate site conditions, recommend materials, and create a scaled layout showing pattern, borders, and integration with existing landscape elements.
Excavation & Base Preparation
We excavate to the required depth, install geotextile fabric, place and compact aggregate in lifts, and verify grade with laser levels. This is the most critical phase and the one most commonly shortcut by less experienced contractors.
Paver Installation & Detailing
Pavers are laid to the approved pattern, cut precisely at borders and transitions, and secured with edge restraints. Polymeric sand is applied and activated to lock joints.
Compaction & Cleanup
A final plate compaction sets the pavers and the site is cleaned thoroughly. Sealer is not applied immediately — pavers need at least one full season to release efflorescence, the natural white film that forms during curing. Some pavers come pre-sealed from the manufacturer. We review the completed surface with you before considering the project finished.
